Saturday Crowdfunding Roundup - Steve Russell
I often have three from Kickstarter most weeks but this week I am focused on a single crowdfunding effort. Earlier this week, the RPG Publishing industry lost a fine fellow who was the head of Rite Publishing. Steve Russell was a respected publisher, well-loved gamer, and family man expecting a new child this coming winter. He was lost to us suddenly in a tragic car accident. His wife and family will be looking at some expenses as a result during their time of grief and anything anyone can do to help them handle this burden will be appreciated. Saturday Crowdfunding Roundup - Science Camp, Cancer Fight, & The Folio #3
Two from GoFundMe and one fresh Kickstarter this week with the first being a chance to help with "MonsterChild's trip to Science Camp" here. "At this camp, she will build her own robot and do obstacle courses with it (pretty cool!) do team building exercises, make multimedia presentations and even a bit of swimming and karaoke. This camp is only open to girls her age in the area and she's worked very hard over the years with her school work to make herself a great candidate "
Also from GoFundMe, noted Gamer Bill Callahan shared that his father-in-law is in a fight against cancer. If you can help Thomas Butler, please do so here. "His battle started in 2009 when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cell Cancer. The kidney was removed but the cancer had already started to spread. He has been coping with a life changing brain aneurysm, a pacemaker, keratoconus and glaucoma when the cancer returned. In 2012 the cancer became Stage 4 in his lungs. He has had radiation on the tumors and a variety of chemo medication with many side effects."
Finally, from Kickstarter, comes the "The Folio #3, 1E/5E format, Adventure Module!" by Scott Taylor here. Scott is "revisiting the way gaming modules should be, with high art, streamlined adventures, and crunchy nostalgia for all level of gamers."

Saturday Crowdfunding Roundup - WarQuest, Villains of the Undercity, & AC for Family

Saturday Crowdfunding Roundup - Horror, Notebooks, Atlas Kings RPG, & the Games Library Trailer
De Horrore Cosmico - Six Scenarios for Cthulhu Invictus is a Kickstarter by Oscar Rios with about a week to go. It's already funded and reaching for some stretch goals here.
The Gamer's Notebook Kickstarter by Peter Regan is also funded and has two weeks to go. You can jump on board here.
The Atlas Kings Tabletop RPG Kickstarter by Hal Burdick is just getting underway. It's a straightforward, OGL project with some compelling artwork that can be funded here.
Over on GoFundMe, you can help support the effort to fund the Games Library Trailer which travels from convention to convention with games that can be checked out like library books and player at those events. It's a worthy cause and made all the more so since the guy in charge has had some mounting medical bills keeping him from replacing the original trailer that has served so well for eight years.
